A brighter side to Halloween

Church goers took part in an alternative Halloween celebration.

Instead of the traditional dark evening a Bright Party was held at Biggleswade Pentecostal Church.

Around 50 people of all ages took part in the games and a hotdog tea on Wednesday, October 31. Games included seeing who could stick the most Cheerios on their face, apple bobbing, a jelly relay and quizzes.

Trevor Homfray-Cooper, the church’s pastor, said: “It was a great success and an extremely positive alternative to the dark focus of so many other activities on Halloween.”
