Cadet collection to help the RAF

FORMER RAF personnel and their families will benefit from money raised by air cadets.

The 22 (Sandy) squadron raised £137 for the Royal Air Force Association’s Wings Appeal by collecting money in Sandy Town Centre. The appeal jointly funds three care homes with the RAF Benevolent Fund as well as other initiatives.

Flight lieutenant Geoff Matthews said: “The cadets have done really well and for such a good cause.

“The RAF Association does a brilliant job at helping current and former RAF personnel so any money they receive will certainly be put to good use.”

The squadron thanks everyone who donated to the appeal.
