Carol service at St Andrew’s Church to remember loved ones

A funeral directors in Biggleswade are hosting a Carol Service of Remembrance for bereaved families.

Woodman & Son of Market Square, are holding their annual service for families and friends to remember their loved ones who have passed away over the past twelve months. The service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, at 7.30pm at St Andrew’s Church, Biggleswade.

Anyone is welcome to attend regardless of which funeral director you have used in the past and during the service. Family and friends will be invited to light a candle in memory of their loved ones.

Funeral manager Andrea Marr said: “As the year draws to a close, the evenings inevitably becomes longer and the Christmas period approaches. Families can also pay tribute to their loved ones by writing a message to be hung on a traditional Tree of Memories. Family and friends can write a message or just their loved one’s name on a tag to be hung on the tree and they will be displayed at the funeral home following the service.
