A cash donation of £500 means All Saints Academy in Clifton will be able to construct a new outdoor classroom in the woodland area on school premises.
PTA co-chair Tracy Norman said: “It will be made from wood and decorated with plants so that it looks natural and fits in with the surroundings.
“We hope to have it up and running by April so that teachers and children are able to use it during the summer months and older pupils moving on next year will have an opportunity to see the new facility before they leave.”
The PTA appealed for support for the project from Taylor Wimpey South Midlands who are building The Paddocks, a development on the outskirts of the village.
The cost of the classroom is estimated at £8.000.
Tracy said: “The sponsorship will make a huge difference. It’s great to be able to take the children out so they can learn in a different environment, especially as get them involved in topics relating to science and nature.”
The PTA raises money every year to improve education and facilities at the school, which caters for children aged four to nine.
