Pupils from a village school had a special outing arranged to start the festive season.
The children from Northill Lower School had a tasty treat when they tucked into a Christmas lunch at the local pub!
Pupils trooped across the road from the school to the Crown pub where they settled down to a slap-up Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, child-friendly puddings, drinks and had fun pulling crackers in the traditional way.
Head of school Mrs Barden said: “The children love coming over. It is so kind of Mr and Mrs Doughty to invite us back and treat us so royally every year. We have all had a wonderful time and I’m delighted to say the children all behaved beautifully.”
