Police have been supporting the ‘We Stand Together’ campaign all week.
The week of action is aimed at celebrating differences and is calling for the communities across Central Beds to come together in cohesion and unity.
The campaign is a national initiative promoting the importance of building a safer and stronger UK, following recent global events which have caused tension and fear within our communities.
Chief Inspector Tania Coulson, force lead for Hate Crime, said: “Bedfordshire Police has been working in partnership across the county to fight against hate crime.
“It is more important than ever that we come together and send a strong unified message to embrace diversity.”
Using the hashtag #WeStandTogether the police have been posting photos with partner organisations.
