Bedfordshire man arrested on suspicion of armed robbery

A man has been arrested following an armed robbery at Natwest bank in St Neots High Street.

The incident happened on December 30 in the High Street at 4.45pm.

The four masked men brandished pieces of wood and made staff open the safe and left with around £300, driving off in a silver car.

A 29-year-old man from Sandy in Bedfordshire has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released on police bail until April 4.
