Police are appealing for witnesses following two burglaries in Dunton on Saturday where the occupants’ vehicles were stolen.

The first incident took place in Boot Lane, between 8-10pm. The front door of the property was forced open and a purse and car keys were stolen, before the offenders made off in the owner’s L-reg blue Toyota.

Between 10.30pm on Saturday and 7.15am on Sunday cash and a car key were also stolen from a property in Horseshoe Close and the owner’s G-reg blue Skoda Octavia Estate was then taken off the drive.

Detective Constable Adam Cave, investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone in the area at the time acting suspiciously, have seen either of the vehicles or knows anything about the two incidents.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
