Dog racing celebrations for greyhound trainer
A FORMER greyhound trainer has celebrated her 100th birthday.
Hilda Laver, of Brook End in Hatch, celebrated the milestone date on Wednesday, October 5.
She visited Henlow Dog Racing Stadium with friends for the first time since retiring at the age of 95.
Hilda, who has lived in Hatch for 14 years, also bred the dogs. She still keeps two greyhounds.
