Children, families and friends can enjoy an afternoon of fun and celebrate Easter at St John’s Hospice on Sunday, March 20, with an egg hunt.
There will be a raffle, cake off competition, face painting and games, refreshments and cakes, from noon until 4.30pm.
The easterhunt will take place in the grounds of the hospice in Moggerhanger and you need to book a slot at www.sueryder.org/stjohnseaster
Entry is £5 for children and £1 for adults and each child who takes part will receive a chocolate egg.
This year the hospice is hosting its first Easter Cake Off competition and details are available on the website.
Fundraising assistant, Michelle Aitcheson, said: “The Easter egg hunt is a great opportunity for mums, dads, grandparents and all the family, to take part in a fun filled activity afternoon.
“It is important for us to hold these events, engage with our local community and help rasie money for the hospice.
“We have plenty of car parking and there will be a range of items to purchase.”
Although staff and volunteers will be on hand to supervise, it is requested that all children be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
