Eat, drink and raise money too
RESIDENTS can enjoy tea, coffee and cake at a residential development and raise money for a children’s charity at the same time.
McCarthy and Stone, who are selling 42 one and two-bedroom retirement living apartments in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade are raising money for Barnardo’s at the event on Thursday (November 3).
McCarthy and Stone will be donating £10 to the children’s charity for every visitor who attends the fundraiser at North Gate Court, which will run from 2pm to 4pm.
Barbardo’s runs projects across the UK that transform the lives of children and young people.
