Eco Hub set for expansion

  • The Eco Hub in Gamlingay is to be further expanded
  • The extension will focus on youth activities and corporate use
  • There will also be an improved car park and new recreational area

The Eco Hub in Gamlingay is about to be expanded further thanks to a generous contribution from local developers, Kier Living.

This money will be used to fund an extension specifically for youth activities and corporate use as well as an upgraded car park and an exciting new recreation area.

Chair of Gamlingay Parish Council, Sarah Groom said, “The Parish Council is delighted that this extension to the Eco Hub is now going to complete the plan for the original building.

“We had to compromise our original build due to limitations of our budget, but Kier Living’s involvement is now enabling us to essentially finish what we had started.”

The contractor for the new project will be G and S Hutchinsons of Potton, who built the first phase of the Eco Hub.

Robert Hutchinson said: “We are proud of the job that we did with the Eco Hub and it’s extremely gratifying to be asked to undertake the second phase of work.”
