Engines at the ready for Stotfold steam fair

STEAM enthusiasts, and anyone with a few hours to spare, would do well to visit the watermill this weekend.

For the ninth year running Stotfold Watermill will be holding its Steam Fair and Country Show. The main attractions will be the 25 historic steam traction engines from the Saunders Collection and other rare steam machines, which have been lovingly restored.

But there will be far more than this for visitors to enjoy. There will also be falconry flights, a vintage bicycle display and death-defying performances by the Stannage Stunt Team. Look out for the only flaming high dive in Europe and the exploding coffin escape.
