Flipping great day was had by all

There was a great turn out on a sunny Sunday for this year's Silsoe pancake race.

Event organiser Maggie Herod said: “This year’s race was as successful as ever – the sun even shone for us!

“It was great to see so many members of the local community come together to take part and I’m delighted to announce that we raised a fantastic £1,100 for local causes.

“I would like to say a big thank you to Bloor Homes for their continued support – their generous donation enables what has become a real highlight of the Silsoe community calendar to take place each year.”

Bloor built the Silsoe Grange development.
