Four travel from Poland to Sandy

A TOWN’S link with Poland was reinforced with another visit from residents of the twin town.

Ludwika Szczesna, Anna Friedrich, Magdalena Martyn and Mieczyslawa Krzywinska travelled from Skarszewy to Sandy.

Ludwika and Anna are primary teachers who organise the summer school link with Sandy, while Magdalena and Mieczyslawa work in the finance and marketing departments at the town hall.

Their visit to Sandy coincided with the remembrance services.

Max Hill, who co-ordinates the Polish link for the town, said: “They were here for five days and the visit was very successful.”
