Fun day is sure to go swimmingly
A FUN day is set to be held at Saxon Pool and Leisure Centre in Biggleswade to mark the official opening of its creche garden.
Swimming teacher Jon Scott, 27, swam 1,000 lenghs of the pool in a 13-hour fundraiser to raise cash for the new facility, which was built by the YMCA Bedfordshire.
He raised more than £550 by swimming the equivalent length of the River Ivel.
The fun day will begin at 10am on Saturday, April 28, when Jon will oficially open the garden creche.
