A charity that uses sport to develop disadvantaged communities overseas is hosting a fundraising cricket match against Potton Town Cricket Club tonight, Friday, August 7.
The match is taking place at the Hollow in Potton at 6pm and is in aid of funds for communities in Nepal.
Angus Berry, from Biggleswade and a former pupil at Stratton Upper School, is the founder of Connecting Clubs International.
There will be a barbecue, raffle and a 20/20 cricket match. All money raised will be going towards the charity’s partner cricket club in Nepal who need assistance to be able to deliver community sports.
Angus said: “We are expecting a good crowd of people at the Hollow so it promises to be a good evening.”
