meet children in the run-up to the opening of his seasonal grotto.

He said: “As it isn’t snowing in Bedfordshire at the moment, I decided to travel by carriage. Rudolf and the rest of the reindeer team are at the North Pole practicing and getting ready to pull my sleigh on the big night.”

Crowds of children and their families gathered to meet Santa and his elves on Saturday (November 14), when many took the opportunity to dress up in Christmas hats and take photos.

Santa’s Grotto will open on November 14, and offers families a 45-minutes visit to his magic wonderland, with the chance to sing with his bashful elves, make some reindeer food and listening to an enchanted story read by the big man himself.
