Gamlingay held their Annual Parish Meeting recently and received presentations from the Police, Fire Service and Paramedics.

There were updates on The Eco Hub which now has a defibrillator which members of the community will be trained to use in an emergency situation.

Gamlingay also now has a new volunteer Speed Watch team and the Parish Council has funded equipment for this.

The build of phase 2 of the Eco Hub is well underway and bookings for the new wing have already been secured.

The new cemetery construction is also well underway as is the development of the outdoor space at the WI hall for Sunshine Pre-School and other users and the installation of an air source heat pump to improve the Old Methodist Chapel for Rainbow Pre School.

Council Chairman, Sarah Groom, said: “I would like to thank my fellow councilors for their time and energy this year.”
