H&M will be opening a new store in Biggleswade this summer.
The store, located in the A1 Retail Park, will open on Thursday, August 27 at 11am.
To celebrate, customers in the queue will receive a wristband entitling them to 25 percent off all fabulous products in store to shop during opening day.
The store will occupy a sales area of over 18,000 square feet, offering H&M collections for women, men, teenagers and children.
The opening has created around 20 jobs in a mix of full and part time positions.
“We are constantly looking for new and exciting opportunities to expand our brand and are delighted to be opening in Biggleswade this summer,” said Carlos Duarte, Country Manager for H&M UK. “The store will offer fantastic fashion and quality clothing at the best price in a sustainable way.”
On launch day there will be various fun activities in-store for everyone to enjoy whilst shopping. Goody bags will be handed out to customers in the queue including a notebook, travel kit and drawstring bag.
There will also be a DJ on the decks throughout the day and plenty of fun activities for children, including balloon-modelling and face painting from 11am to 5pm.
H&M has been present in the UK since 1976, having opened the first H&M store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, North London.
