High standard for Biggleswade rangers group
NORTH-EAST Bedfordshire MP Alistair Burt was among the guests at a rangers group’s flag unveiling ceremony.
Members of the Ivel Rangers in Biggleswade welcomed Mr Burt and his wife Eve to the event at Trinity Methodist Church.
Amanda Barker, assistant guider at the group, said: “We are a relatively new unit as we have only been going since 2007, and when we have taken part in parades like on Remembrance Sunday we have not had a flag to use before.

Hide Ad“They are not cheap to buy but we have had help from the district which we are very grateful for.
“We would also like to thank Biggleswade Town Council for helping us with the ceremony costs.”
Other guests at the ceremony included the district commissioner, county commissioner and members of the Trinity Methodist Church congregation.
