Ivel Valley School enjoyed building dens for a day to raise money for Save the Children on Wednesday. Pupils paid to come to school dressed in mufti and cake sales took place as well.
The idea came from teacher Lesley MacLeod and throughout the two school sites there were a number of different themes from circus to army which the pupils enjoyed.
Lesley said: “The idea of it is to make them aware of what it is like for those who have lost their homes but also to have fun with it at the same time.
Audrey Webb, Assistant Headteacher, said: “It is an opportunity for the children to have a hands-on experience and use their imaginations.
The school would like to thank those who donated materials.
