Kier, based in Sandy, has celebrated an award-winning year at the NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ Supreme Awards 2014.
No fewer than seven Kier site managers were named Quality Award winners in the first round of the NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Awards for 2014.
Four were then awarded the Seal of Excellence across three regions – Southern, South East and Eastern, with Martin Harvey, who works at Kier’s The Waterfront Worthing named the NHBC Pride in the Job, Southern Regional Award winner and going on to compete in the Supreme Awards held earlier this month.
The NHBC awards recognise and reward the UK’s best site managers and provide homebuyers with extra peace of mind about the quality of their new home.
Competition is tough and the managers are assessed by independent construction experts during the judging process.
Nick Moore, Managing Director at Kier said: “We are really proud of Martin and the team for proceeding this far in these very prestigious awards.
“Martin has completed a development of outstanding sea front apartments which have proved to be very popular with purchasers looking for a place by the sea. “
Martin, 51, has worked for Kier for 11 years and at The Waterfront Worthing, where he is senior site manager, for two years.
2015 has already got off to a flying start on the awards front as Kier has been shortlisted in two categories of the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards.
