Man hit on the head by pole
A man has been taken to hospital after a pole hit him in the head in Stotfold today (Tuesday, 5th July).
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 11.24am to report that the man had been knocked out after the pole struck him on his head.
An ambulance crew were sent and treated the man, believed to be in his 40s, for a head injury before taking him to Lister Hospital for further care in a stable condition.
