Man receives head injury in road accident

The emergency services were called to the scene on Wednesday (September 28).

They attended the scene outside Poundstretcher in Biggleswade High Street.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “We were alerted to the High Street at 12.55 and a male received a slight head injury and was taken to the Lister Hospital.”

The man is a Wrestlingworth resident in his 70s.

The driver tested negative on a breath test.
