MP visits Sandy students
STUDENTS at an upper school had a special political visitor on Friday (December 9).
MP for North East Bedfordshire, Alistair Burt, was welcomed to Sandy Upper School by staff and students.
The morning started with Alistair taking the Year 11 assembly and delivering the simple message; do what you can, with what you’ve got, where you are.
The MP then met with several different groups of students during the morning and also spoke to with members of the school council and the lead students.
