Susan Sim spent 32 years with the NHS latterly asDirector of Nursing based in North West London, followed by the East of England. She then moved on the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) where her interest in care homes developed.

Her role at the RCN was focused on integrating social and private care, by bringing together senior level care staff within the NHS and those managing care homes. After her time at the RCN, Susan left to become a General Manager for a specialist neurological nursing home in Milton Keynes and Peterborough where she has worked for the past three years.

Susan said: “I have always had a keen interest in the development and improvement of elderly care, and hope to bring my experience in this area to the role to further enhance the quality of service we deliver.

Beaumont Park accommodates up to 46 nursing and residential residents. It recently had a major £1.9 million investment programme involving the creation of a large extension which was officially opened by the town’s Mayor in October 2014.
