The tournament will run from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3.

Electric boogie, also known as electric boogaloo, is a style of hip hop and funk dance closely related to body popping.

Trudy Priestley, Kaia’s grandmother, said the family are very proud of Kaia and Nicole and are looking forward to cheering them on at the tournament.

She said: “The girls have worked very hard and it will be a special moment for them to compete against dancers from other countries.”

The IDO is a world dance sport federation which has national federations as members.
