Party in the Park returns for the 12th year in a row tomorrow at the Blunham playing fields.
It is hosted by the registered charity Trustees, who work on behalf of the residents of Blunham, to promote the facilities for children and adults of the village and its surroundings.
This is a voluntary organisation, without any funding from central government.
The family event will run from 3pm until 11pm. The day will consist of light music, bands including Almost Abba and Will & Ollie, disco, Irish dancing display, combat demonstrations, tug of war, human bingo, adult sumo wrestling, children’s sport challenges, fairground rides, a barbecue, a pig roast and various other stalls.
Event organiser Jo Smith said: “Party in the Park is a day when the whole village comes together to relax, catch up and party!”
“It is a day when everyone in the village; children, parents, grandparents, church goers, elderly, friends and relations come to one place and have fun together. The atmosphere is fantastic and there is usually a sea of smiling faces. Everyone looks forward to the Party in the Park every year.”

Family advance tickets cost £20 and on the day are £25. Adult advance tickets are £7.50 and on the day £10. OAP/Child advance tickets are £4 and on the day £5.
Blunham Pavilion are hosts to Blunham Cricket Club, Blunham Youth Football Club, Jamie’s Ultrafit training, Vintage tea rooms and Sheilagh Ashley art classes.
The field is open to the public everyday which includes a play area, zip wire, BMX track and exercise equipment.
The bar is open throughout the summer every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon to 10pm.
