Patients brighten up a village hall with rolling art gallery

A village hall has taken on a secondary role as an art gallery.

Wyboston Village Hall is being used to display artwork created by patients at the village’s Milton Park Hospital.

The residents there have varying degrees of autism. The pictures will be updated every three months, with eight on display at any one time.

Val Howson, vice-chair of the village hall committee, said: “They are going to do a rolling art gallery.

“They are doing everything from print art to very basic potato printing. Some of them find it very easy and other find it more difficult.

“The pictures are of everything from horses to Mozart.”

The pictures have brightened the newly- refurbished hall.
