Health organisation nominated for NHS awards

A health organisation which provides services across Bedfordshire, Essex and Luton has been nominated for two NHS awards.

The South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT) is nominated for NHS Board Of The Year, and Sarah Browne, SEPT’s associate director for clinical governance and quality, is shortlisted for NHS Newcomer of the Year.

SEPT chief executive Dr Patrick Geoeghegan said “I’m delighted we have been nominated in not one but two categories against a background of very strong competition from the very best of the best leaders throughout the NHS across the UK, which re-affirms my belief that we have the very best staff working at SEPT at all levels of the organization.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony to take place in December in London.
