Quilting the way to the Olympics
AN Olympic athlete will receive a gift from Sandy Town Council.
The mayor, Susan Sutton, has offered to make a pennant as part of the Quilts 4 London scheme. It will include a transfer of the town badge.
The aim is for each athlete to receive a pennant. Other Sandy groups wanting to make a pennant may also use the badge.
