Members and supporters of Sandy Rotary Club have been raising money for charity by selling a Christmas quiz. Now in its 21st year of selling quizzes, the club is hoping to repeat lasts year’s successful effort which raised more than £5,000.
This year’s quiz is on the theme of farms or farming and clues may be an anagram, cryptic, phonetic or a combination. Charities to benefit this year are St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger, MacMillan Cancer Support and Diabetes UK.
Entry forms are £2 and are still available from Allders Opticians, Market Square, Sandy. Entries must be returned by noon on January 9, indicating which charity you wish the £2 entry fee to go too.
