Event: Sponsored Skydive and ‘An Evening of Organ Music’.

When and where: The sponsored skydive was on Wednesday, April 8, and the Organ concert takes place on Saturday, April 25 at 7.30pm.

What the event entails: The skydive was a tandem parachute jump from 13,000ft over Northamptonshire. The Organ Concert will be an evening featuring music from Callum Alger – an organ scholar from Portsmouth Cathedral and Stephen Barber – an organist from Peterborough.

Who is taking part? Jessica has already taken part in the skydive event, and ‘The Room’ a youth group from St. Andrew’s Church will be holding the concert.

Charity: ‘Room in Africa’ appeal on behalf of ‘Hands at Work’.

Why have you chosen this charity? In July 2015, ‘The Room’, a group of young adults will be travelling to South Africa and spending two weeks there supporting some of the 53 million orphans in Africa.

Target: Jessica has raised £850 from her skydive sponsorship, but would love to make it £1000. The trip target is £10,000.
