A Christmas bazaar is being held by the Biggleswade unit of St John Ambulance at their based on Crab Lane.

Visitors to the bazaar on Saturday, November 21, can buy raffle tickets, and there will be a tombola and name the badger competition for the charity’s Donate For Defibs campaing. Stalls will include Avon, a local jeweller, along with Christmas gifts and other items for sale.

St John Ambulance volunteers will be there too and will be happy to demonstrate a range of first aid techniques to visitors.

The bazaar will be open from 10.30am until 3pm with many activities for visitors to enjoy.

Biggleswade unit volunteer Julie Farr said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming as many local people as possible this Saturday and hope that they enjoy the activities we have arranged for them.

“One of the focuses of the day is of course to raise funds for the ongoing work of local St John Ambulance volunteers delivering first aid in the community. I’d like to thank members of the public who donated funds at our last event in October. We raised just over £95 which will help train and equip our volunteers.”
