Iceland in Biggleswade held a special launch event this week for a new range of frozen meals.

The meals were created by Slimming World in association with Iceland.

Adrian Lees, Iceland Biggleswade store manager and Andy Lazarewicz, store manager-in-training), welcomed Slimming World Consultants Rose and Adela for Biggleswade, Joyce for Sandy and Rachel for Potton and Gamlingay to the Biggleswade store to celebrate the launch and answer customer questions.

Adrian said: “We are thrilled with the success of the launch of Slimming World/Iceland ready meals today. Staff from both companies have worked well together in store this morning to introduce customers to the new range and other product lines that are available in store.”

Adela Kerr, a Slimming World Consultant who runs the Biggleswade Saturday morning Slimming World group, says: “With today’s modern, busy lifestyles there are times when even the best-laid plans to prepare healthy home-cooked meals can be scuppered and my members often tell me that it’s when time is short that they’re most likely to go off track. That’s when they end up grabbing a ready meal that leaves them unsatisfied or having a high-calorie takeaway, because they didn’t have a convenient, delicious, healthy meal to hand.”

Every meal has the recipe printed on the packaging too, so people hoping to shed pounds can try the dishes for themselves.
