The last talk of the year arranged by Sandy Information Centre is about wartime secret agents.
Training to be a secret agent during the Second World War is the title of the talk, to be given by Bernard O’Connor, who has spoken before on various aspects of the Special Operations Executive (SOE).
During this war several thousand secret agents of many nationalities, including more than 80 women, were infiltrated into occupied Europe on special operations. If you think you had (or still have) what it takes to be a special agent, Bernard will provide an illustrated talk on the training they received.
The talk will take place on Monday, December 7 at 7.30pm and will be held in the Sandy Baptist Church Hall. Admission is £5.50 per person.
