Swimming teacher and life-saving coach Diane Evans has had her voluntary work recognised with the presentation of the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Medal of Distinction.
Diane has been the volunteer lead in swimming and lifesaving club activities at RAF Henlow since 2000, training and supervising all personnel involved with the Henlow Rookie Lifeguard and Lifesaving Club.
She has combined this with a busy role as a company director and has given countless hours to her swimming and lifesaving clubs.
On the same occasion, Diane was awarded the Bar to her RLSS (UK) Service Medal.
Diane is pictured receiving her awards from Olympic medallist swimmer Steve Parry in London.
