Meet at the tourist information centre at 2pm. The route will go along the High Street, past the medieval parish church and along Ivel Road with its mixture of cottages and farmhouses dating from the 16th century.

Walkers will cross the River Ivel and walk along Sandcast Bridleway. They will then head along Bedford Road to the market square, which has a central group of 17th and 18th century buildings.

The walk will proceed along Sand Lane to the top of the Pinnacle, with its view of the surrounding countryside.

It will end at St Swithun’s Church, where there will also be a flower festival and cream teas.

The walk costs £5 per person. To book call the TIC on 01767 682728 or email [email protected]
