WI celebrates 100th with a posh frocks do
Members of Upper Caldecote WI donned their best outfits for a ‘Posh Frocks Do’ where their partners were also invited.
The colourful afternoon tea party was held at Josie’s Barn, Water Lane Farm, in the village on Saturday, July 4, to celebrate the centenary of the women’s institute nationally, and about 35 people enjoyed the special occasion.
Tables were beautifully decorated and a buffet tea was served. a special celebration cake cut during the afternoon.
