Winning smiles from the salon of the year!
The Beauty Cabin, which opened its doors in 2011, fought off stiff competition from other hairdressers and beauty salons in the area to emerge victorious.
And in the two and a half years since opening its doors it has gone from strength to strength, with the Chronicle award being the newest feather in its cap.

Hide AdAnd owners Ali and Darren Sutcliffe say they are delighted to have won the award, which proves that Chronicle readers think they are the cream of the crop.
The Beauty Cabin was founded by Ali back in 2006, before moving to its current premises in Chestnut Avenue, Biggleswade.
Ali explained: “I started out in a little log cabin in our garden. But because the demand grew so much and I was fully booked all the time, we had to expand, so we built this place.
“It’s amazing to have gone from that, with it just being me on my own, to having two salons and a staff of about 15 in two and a half years.
“I never would have dreamed it was possible.”

Hide AdAnd she added: “It’s a huge – and lovely – surprise to have won. The local competition is very strong.”
Husband and wife team Ali and Darren opened a brand new salon in Cambourne in June.
And Ali , who runs the day to day management of the salons, says she could never have realised her dream without Darren’s support – with him taking on the lion’s share of the business side of the operation.
Ali said: “Darren has been great. I couldn’t have done it without him. We’re a great team.”

Hide AdShe added: “I think that we will all have to open a bottle of bubbly when we’ve finished work!”
The Beauty Cabin offers a range of treatments, including massages, waxing, manicures and pedicures and even semi-permanent makeup.
In March 2013 the salon became an approved partner of ESPA (the luxury Spa brand), securing 10 years product and treatment exclusivity in the Biggleswade area. In 2014, The Beauty Cabin also became the first salon in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire to attain HD Brows ‘PRO’ status.
