A woman was rescued after being badly injured in a fall from a horse near Biggleswade last night.
At 8.25pm last night Magpas Helimedix with Doctor Leigh Bissett and paramedic Dan Read arrived near Biggleswade via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after the woman, in her 20s was injured following the fall.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered a shoulder injury.
The Magpas team sedated her, providing her with specialist A&E care at the scene before accompanying her to Bedford Hospital South Wing by land ambulance.
On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.
HART and EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also on the scene.
