Biggleswade squash side suffer third heavy defeat

Following two big losses travelled to Bedford to take on Bunyan with one change from last week’s heavy defeat with Simon Gray replacing son Marcus (unavailable due to exam revision)

Nathan Bascom at string four found his opponent John Wixted too strong and went down in straight games 3-0.

Rich Anthony at string three fared no better going down to his second consecutive 3-0 defeat against Julian Cooper.

Martin Wright at string five put a good fight and for the second week running his match went down to the final game.

Unfortunately for Biggleswade, Keith Browne for Bunyan clinched the final game 16-14 to win 3-2 and take the match for Bunyan.

Simon Gray at string two, lacking a bit of match fitness, was outplayed by Matt Towers and went down to a 3-0 defeat.

Last up was Biggleswade number one Dan Easton, fresh from his TV appearance on Ninja Warriors, however tonight he proved to be no warrior succumbing meekly to Will Montgomery in another 3-0 defeat.

Overall score Bunyan 1 5 (20) – Biggleswade 0 (2).

The next game sees Biggleswade make the same journey to take on Bunyan 2 trying to bounce back after three consecutive heavy defeats.
