The course leader is Development Team captain Kyle Loan, who is a RFU level 2 coach and enthusiastically supports women’s rugby.

The course is completely free and participants need to bring suitable footwear and a gum shield if they have one, although the exercises are just for fun and non contact for the first few weeks.

The programme is supported by Team Beds and Luton as part of the Sportivate programme.

“Sportivate train coaches such as Kyle to achieve and support a lasting legacy from the Rugby World Cup 2015,” said Tom Harwood, a Biggleswade RUFC vice president, former mini and youth player and now a sports development officer. He added that this builds upon the England Women’s Rugby team becoming World Champions.

The course runs from 10am to 11.30am at Biggleswade Rugby Club where the girls will enjoy the exclusive use of the changing facilities.
