Biggy thwarted by the weather at Harborough
Biggleswade’s game against Market Harborough fell victim to the snow in Leicestershire last Saturday as the game was postponed.
The likely rematch is scheduled for Saturday, February 14.
Results in the games that were played aided Biggy considerably in the Midlands 2 East South league with Wellingborough in second place and Olney in fourth place both losing. Biggleswade remain third but need to make the most of their game in hand.
The action at Langford Road this weekend starts early with the Six Nations games showing on TV on Friday evening when Wales face England in Cardiff. The game is accompanied with free chilli at half time and all are welcome.
On Saturday Biggleswade First XV play league leaders Northampton Old Scouts at 2.15pm preceded by the Vice Presidents Lunch at 12.30pm.
