Clifton v Ampthill: pictures
It may have been a little overcast but that didn’t dampen the enjoyment of cricketers from Clifton and Ampthill.
They two sides locked horns at Clifton’s Claybridge ground in the Bedfordshire League Second Division - and it was the hosts who came out on top.
Ampthill won the toss and decided to bat. However, Clifton romped to an impressive 294-5 score.
In reply Ampthill were all out for 184, giving Clifton a 110 run win.
