Arlesey Town salvaged what may be a crucial point in their basement battle with Banbury United on Saturday.

The Blues found themselves two goals down at the interval, Westbrook and Tapin on the mark.

But Geoff Mitchell pulled one back early in the second half and Martel Powell bagged the leveller for the hosts five minutes from time.

Arlesey remain third from bottom of the Southern League Premier but are just two points behind fourth from bottom Frome Town.

They host Barton Rovers in the Beds Senior Cup semi-final on Tuesday, MArch 3.
