Arlesey Town recorded back to back league wins this week to haul themselves away from the foot of the Southern League Division One Central.
Christian Tavernier followed up a weekend hat-trick with the winning goal on Tuesday as Arlesey returned from their Bedfordshire derby with Barton Rovers with a 2-1 victory.
It was particularly pleasing as the Blues successfully came from a goal behind. The first half looked to be finishing goalless before Kevin Kilroy converted a free kick in time added on to give Rovers the advantage.
Arlesey equalised midway through the second half when Lewis Wilson scored from a long throw in.
Then with just a minute remaining Wilson turned provider, working the ball into the box and dummying the defender before putting in a great cross and Tavernier bundled it in.
Arlesey are now without a game until a league trip to Ware on November 7.
