The heavy scoreline was harsh on Arlesey. They trailed 1-0 at half time to a Simon Thomas goal despite putting in a decent performance.
In the second half Nick Thompson pulled off a great double save from Jack Bradshaw’s penalty, and the Blues equalised on 56 minutes when an excellent move from Tony Williams fed Jevani Brown and he fired into the roof of the net.
However that lead wasn’t to last as Thomas finished his second of the game six minutes later.
Shortly afterwards Rhys Hoenes was felled for a second time in the Arlesey box and this time Bradshaw made no mistake from the spot.
The result was sealed on 73 minutes when Bradshaw netted yet another penalty after Ryan Ingrey was fouled.
Arlesey sit nine points clear of the relegation zone but have played three games more. This weekend they host six placed Chalfont St Peter.
