Arlesey pick up point in battle against the drop

Arlesey Town picked up a point at home to Potters Bar Town on Saturday.

Kim Forsythe netted the equaliser with a quarter of an hour to go after the visitors had gone ahead through Ryan Forde on the hour.

Arlesey may have felt they had done enough to win it but couldn’t find the knockout blow.

It was a useful point in their battle to pull away from the foot of the Southern League Central table. They sit fourth from bottom, three points above Aylesbury directly below them.

They have a tough fixture at Egham Town on Saturday.
